All Traffic Solutions products are modular, interchangeable and forward compatible. For instance, you can use the same trailer with any of their display products,. You can also retrofit a previously purchased SPEEDsentry® radar speed sign with the WebEmpowered® device management and data analysis tool, boosting capabilities and effectiveness significantly or for retrofitting a previously purchased radar speed display to work with the new WebEmpowered service.
The patent pending instALERT® provides unmatched officer and citizen safety at an accident scene or during an emergency situation. The full size, full matrix display can be dispatched from the back of a vehicle and set up by a single person in under a minute. The displays quickly and easily communicate the exact message needed; using one to three lines of text with 7”, 10.25” or 24” letters that are visible hundreds of yards away. The instALERT can be mounted in a number of ways including on the hitch receiver of the vehicle, a portable or stationary post and a trailer.
The instALERT weighs just over 40 lbs and unfolds from a carrying size only 3” deep by 28” tall by 30” wide to a full matrix display that measures 2.3’ X 5’. The flexibility provided by the instALERT’s ease of dispatch, use and positioning offers the best messaging alternative available. With the ability to store 25 pre-programmed text/graphic messages or customize them on site using a laptop or PDA with Bluetooth® wireless technology, the instALERT is a must-have tool for anyone who needs to communicate on short notice with the public.
All Traffic Solutions recently enhanced its modular family of products by introducing speedALERT® which combines the benefits of both the instALERT Rapid Messenger and the SPEEDsentry radar speed display. By combining their functions, messages can be made even more relevant to individual drivers, providing greater impact when most needed.
A 1-, 2-, or 3-screen message can be displayed for selected speed ranges. Compliant drivers can receive any public service message you choose, while violators can receive an increasingly dramatic message depending on their speed, such as “Your Speed / Your Fine”, or “Officer Ahead”. Because the SPEEDsentry will record and store data, the most effective traffic calming messages can be identified.
